Nakliyat-İş Union organized a strong solidarity action at the US Embassy in Istanbul with the participation of the workers, union leaders and members.
During the protest action, Ali Rıza Küçükosmanoğlu, a member of WFTU Presidential Council and President of Nakliyat-İş Union made a press statement. At the beginning of his speech, he stated a great denouncement against the attacks carried out by Israil in Gaza and other regions in Palestine.
In his speech, he also underlined the fact that the state of Israel is backed by the US Imperialism in their ongoing genocidal attacks against Palestinian People and urged Turkish Government to stop all the economical, political, military and social relations with Zionist Israel. At the end of his speech, Küçükosmanoğlu once again emphasized the unconditional support and solidarity with Palestinian People shown by Nakliyat-İş Union and Working Class of Turkey.
While the workers, who were carrying the flags of Palestine and WFTU, were protesting the inhuman attacks of Zionist Israel against the innocent Palestinian People, the slogans “Zionist Israel, get out of the Middle East!”, “Down with US Imperialism” and “Long live the struggle of Palestinian People” resounded throughout the embassy of the United States which is the arch-enemy of the whole humanity.
