A massive militant march with the participation of all delegates, as well as thousands of Chilean working people and youth, marked the conclusion of the XIII International Transport Workers Congress that took place in Santiago, Chile on September 5-7, 2014.
During the two days works of the Congress a strategy for the strengthening of the class-oriented transport workers movement and a rich action plan for the struggle of the transport workers rights was concluded.
A new leadership was elected consisting of the new General Secretary, Ricardo Maldonado from CONUTT-FUTAC Chile, the new President Ali Riza Kucikosmanoglu from Nakliyat-Is Turkey.
