The World Federation of Trade Unions representing 92 million workers in every corner of the world expresses its solidarity with our Indian brothers and sisters which are preparing a General Strike on September 2nd.
We salute the WFTU affiliates in India which are preparing this strike for months, showing the determination and the will of the class forces to mobilize the great force of the working people. The success of this Strike will be a success for the working class of the world.
We call the working class of India to take part in the strike and the demonstrations massively, to strengthen their unions and keep the struggle until their demands are totally fulfilled.
The WFTU expresses its internationalist support and solidarity to the struggle of its Indian brothers and calls all trade union organizations of WFTU to stand in solidarity with the National Strike of the Indian workers.
