More than 400 asylum seekers were shut themselves on Manus Island Center – Camp of Papua New Guinea for more than three weeks refusing to leave and to be transferred to inappropriate living places. Also the refugees state that police have confiscated their stockpiled food and water.
Police in Papua New Guinea made a operation to the Australian-run camp on Manus Island in order to shut down the facility. At the same time solidarity demonstration was held in Sydney, Australia and the participants protested about the living conditions of refugees.
