The World Federation of Trade Unions, representing 92 million workers in the 5 continents, expresses its solidarity with the fair demands of the working class of Thailand against the amendment of the National Health Security Act and all its provisions that increase the inequality and create obstacles in the access of the popular strata and poor people to the public health system.
The public health is an absolute priority of the WFTU and the international class oriented trade union movement. We struggle for a modern, public and quality health system with policies of prevention and healthcare infrastructure that cover the entire population. We fight for public and free medical care and accessible and quality medicines for all.
We call the workers in every continent and every county of the world to struggle in this militant direction. The big class oriented family of the WFTU will always support the fair workers struggles.
