The international class oriented trade union movement expresses its internationalist solidarity with the students and youth of Thailand that are taking the streets demanding democratic freedoms in all the aspects of the life. The protests against the military interventions and influence in schools and society are reflecting the wish of the Thailand people for social rights and the right of association and abolition of the rules imposed by past military regimes.
The World Federation of Trade Unions, representing 105 million workers from 130 countries that join the militant ranks of the WFTU support the youth protest and the demands of the thousand students of Thailand who struggle for human rights and people’s freedoms.
