A meeting was held in Athens, on 19th March 2014, between FENASOL of Lebanon and the World Federation of Trade Unions. Head of the delegation of FENASOl was brother Castro Abhallah. On behalf of WFTU present were brother George Mavrikos, General Secretary and the Deputy General Secretaries Valentin Pacho, Swadesh Devroye, Ibrahim Ahmed and Arab Relations Advisor Mohammed Iqnaibi.
The meeting was substantial and concerned all the serious and contemporary problems in the region of the Middle East and all the Arab World. The tasks and the role of the class-oriented trade unions were discussed for the strengthening of the struggles of the working people in the region.
