The WFTU president on the 4th day of its 5-days visit program in Nepal continues its meetings, spreading the principles and the goals of the World Federation of Trade Union. During the today’s morning the WFTU president met with the chairman of CPN (MC), Puspakamala Danala PRACHAND discussing the situation that prevails both in the international trade union movement and in Nepal.
Subsequently, the WFTU delegation met with Jhala Nath Khanal, Senior leader of the CPN (UML) and former Prime Minister of Nepal and Surendra Panday a CPM (UML) S.C. member and former finance minister. Also a meeting took place with Mohan Bikeam Sing, General Secretary of NCP Masal. During the meetings were exchanged thoughts and positions regarding the issues which are faced from the workers.
Moreover the WFTU president was the first speaker of a Trade Union workshop program, held in the capital of Nepal. The 4th day of WFTU visit program in Nepal concluded with the 2nd television interview of the WFTU president.
