The World Federation of Trade Unions, which is the militant voice of more than 92 million workers in 126 countries all over the world, extends its internationalist solidarity with the trade unionists of Nakliyat-İş Union and Real Markets Workers, who were attacked by riot police and arrested today after they occupied the Metro Store in Güneşli, Istanbul , protesting about the job loss and demanding the compensation by Metro Group A.G of the dismissed Real Market Workers.
As world class-oriented trade union movement, we strongly denounce the terrorism used against the workers and Nakliyat-İş Union members and leadership, in order to suppress their struggles for their fair demands.
