The Office of State of Emergency of Bursa Governorship informed Nakliyat-İş union that during the state of emergency they forbid the actions and demonstrations at Gemlik MSC/MEDLOG Logistics.
After this illegal decision, Nakliyat-İş organized a protest at MEDLOG in Gemlik, one of the locations that the struggle of the dismissed workers leaded by our union continues. The police attacked the unionists and workers.
They tried to detain the president of Nakliyat-İş, Ali Rıza Küçükosmanoğlu and other unionists and dismissed workers but they couldn’t succeed it. Nevertheless, they detained four people from our union. Not leaving the area decidedly for a long time, the trade union succeeded to get the detained people back.
