Nakliyat-İş, a WFTU affiliate in Turkey, organized an action of solidarity to the General strike of PAME on November 12th, in Greece. “Solidarity to the Greek Workers” was written on their banner.
Nakliyat-İş Trade Union organized a solidarity action to show that it fully supports the struggle of PAME in Greece.
They organized the action in front of Istanbul Consulate of Greece. Before the press release, Nakliyat-İş made a march along with such slogans as “Long live the international solidarity of working class”, “Long live international solidarity”, “The unity of workers will overcome the capital” etc…
After the march, a press release was made in front of the consulate building. They briefly told the situation and the struggle of Greece seamen and of course PAME in Greece against the anti-popular and anti worker policies of SYRIZA-ANEL Government.
In the press release, it was stated that in order to overcome the problems all over the World related to peoples and workers, international working class should struggle against EU and the USA imperialists. Also, it was pointed out that the workers in Turkey face the same problems in their country. That it is the only way to make an organized struggle for solving the problems of workers all over the World.
