The World Federation of Trade Union is publishing its essay “The present and the future of work” which it is the collective work of a scientist in several relevant fields and had been presented during the WFTU Informal Presidential Council which took place on June 29th, 2019 in Geneva, Switzerland in the framework of the 108th ILC.
This essay is published in a period where many sides are trying to make us discuss for the future of work within an anti-scientific context with many generalities, vagueness, and meaningless discussions and without touching at the same time the “present of work”.
The international class-oriented trade union movement has to take part in this discussion, trying to convince the international working class that it can change the bad present situation with its energetic participation, by the movement of the masses. We promote our class analysis and ideological beliefs around the modern working-class against the strategic analysis of international bourgeoisie on the one hand and reformist trade union leaderships on the other.
We believe that this essay is going to be a significant tool, and will contribute in our class struggles to claim a better present and future, fighting simultaneously for the final victory and the abolition of the exploitative system.
