Yesterday’s announcement by the International Court of Justice, which calls on Israel to take all measures at its disposal to prevent acts of genocide in Gaza, leaves Israel exposed for its crimes against civilians in Palestine and the ferocity of its attacks.
Although the decision, which does not place Israel’s obligation to immediately stop the genocide it is committing as clearly as it should, demonstrates the need for an immediate end to the attacks and crimes committed against Palestinians.
We are waiting to see how the relevant decisions of the International Court of Justice will be implemented by Israel, and how the various so-called “protectors” of international law, who to this day continue to stand with their actions or by their silence by the murderous State of Israel, will behave.
The international class-oriented trade union movement will continue to stand consistently on the side of the Palestinian people, to condemn the genocide being committed by Israel, as well as the hypocrisy of the imperialists who support the crime being committed.
