The WFTU Financial Control Committee held its regular annual meeting on February 18-21,2017 in the Central Offices of WFTU in Athens, Greece.
During the first meeting of the FCC 5-members recently elected in the 17th World Trade Union Congress, comrade Venkatachalam was re-elected as President.
The FCC has thoroughly checked the audits of the WFTU for the year 2016, including the 17th World Trade Union Congress expenses. And it has prepared its Report underlining the necessity to improve the financial capacity of the WFTU to secure the implementation of the Action Plan, by calling all its affiliates to pay their Statutory fees.
