A very important gathering of the International Workers Institute in solidarity with Palestine , took place on November 11th, 2023.
The World Federation of Trade Unions participated and addressed the gathering and underlined the initiatives and struggles of the international class-oriented trade union movement the last weeks, reiterating that the only realistic, acceptable, and achievable development that will pave the way for the peace in the area is the establishment of an independent Palestinian state on the 1967 borders with East Jerusalem as its capital.
The WFTU congratulated the IWI for this important initiative and once again reiterated that the WFTU will remain on the truly right side of history, intensifying its relentless struggle for an end to the occupation of Palestine and the all the occupied territories in the wider Middle East region.
