The second Balkan Trade Union Forum takes place today, February 16th, in Thessaloniki, Greece, hosted by the Panhellenic Federation of Workers in Bottled Drinks industry.
Trade Union Organizations of most of the Balkan countries have gathered to discuss about the contemporary problems that workers of the Balkan countries face and the situation of the trade union movement in the region.
The slogan of the Forum “mosaic of peoples – mosaic of peace”, highlights the importance of peace, solidarity and cooperation among the Balkan workers.
The WFTU General Secretary, comrade G. Mavrikos is present at this Meeting of the Balkan trade unions.
