Today, September 20th 2017, a high Delegation of the General Federation of Iraq Workers (GFIW), composed of its President, colleague Sattar Danbous Barrak and its Legal Council, colleague Hussein Hasan Hussein, visited the Headquarters of the World Federation of Trade Unions in Athens, Greece, where a meeting with WFTU General Secretary, George Mavrikos was held.
During the meeting the situation of workers in Iraq and the development of various common activities were discussed. The WFTU reiterated its internationalist solidarity with the people of Iraq, against wars and imperialist interventions.
