The Founding of the TUI Textile Garment and leather is a new important organizational step forward for WFTU and the trade unions’ struggles of the respective sectors.
The opening ceremony started in the presence of Mr. Mohamed Saafan, the Minister of Labour of Egypt, brother Ghassan Ghosn, Secretary General of ICATU and Mr. Fayez Al Motery director of the Arab Labor Organisation.
During the opening ceremony the WFTU General Secretary George Mavrikos addressed the participants.
