In his capacity as President of the Sudanese Workers Trade Union Federation, brother Yusuf Ali Abdulkarim payed an official visit to the WFTU Central Offices accompanied by brother Abubaker Al-Sidig, Responsible of International Relations on the 26-29 November 2014.
During its visit, the delegation of SWTUF visited the Central Offices of the WFTU and held an official meeting with the Secretariat represented by the General Secretary, George Mavrikos, Valentin Pacho, Deputy-General Secretary and Mohammed Iqnaibi, Arab Relations Adviser.
Among the topics discussed were the developments in the Arab World and Africa, the working and living conditions of the working people, the struggles of the trade union movement and the role of the WFTU in the region.
SWTUF delegation participated in the demonstration organized at the day of the General Strike in Greece on November 27th, 2014.
