55 years ago the United Nations adopted the Declaration of the Rights of Children, describing the basic rights of children. Principles, however, that have yet to be accomplished for all children of the world, particularly for the children of the working class and the poor working people.
The World Federation of Trade Unions representing 90 million workers in 126 countries reaffirms its commitment to continue fighting for the rights of the children that suffer in conditions of imperialist wars, poverty, malnutrition, where there is lack of access to qualitative education, proper healthcare, social security and clean water.
We will continue to struggle against discrimination, against child labour and exploitation of the minors.
We will continue to struggle for a world that will guarantee a safe, secure and happy environment for the young generations to grow and meet their full potential.
We will continue to fight every day for a world without exploitation of human by human, without capitalist barbarity.
