Dear workers everywhere
Happy International Labour Day
Every year, you, with your wet and blood, create a bright future for humanity.
This year passes and economic crises afflict the entire world as an inevitable result of the savagery of colonial West capitalism and its benefit from the repercussions of the Corona pandemic and the Russian-Ukrainian war. These factors combined called us in the World Federation of Trade Unions to sound the alarm so that the Western governments involved in these interventions do not bear the costs of wars and their repercussions on the working class in the world. However, later, reality has shown the increase in poverty and the working class in the world is paying the costs of these adventures and the high prices of energy and livelihoods everywhere.
We in the World Federation of Trade Unions call for Western governments to bear the consequences of their enslaving actions and to stop the illegal economic sanctions policies that targeted free countries such as Syria, Russia, Iran, Cuba, Venezuela and others. These sanctions contributed to suffocating the American economy in the end by bringing together what the United States of America calls “rogue countries”, so that most countries in the world have fallen into this category and led to strengthening economic cooperation among them.
The Middle East region suffers from the Israeli occupation, which has long proved to be an artificial entity based on the occupation of Arab lands in Palestine, Syria and Lebanon, and based on bloodshed in these regions with a racist approach that is rare in history. We call on the workers and the free people of the world to stand firm against the racist measures of the Israeli occupation forces by organizing demonstrations and launching economic boycott campaigns around the world targeting the usurping Israeli entity.
In conclusion, we can only hope for a better tomorrow in which the workers will receive the wages they deserve that match the effort exerted and that will protect them from asking people aids.
Long Live the working class around the world
Long live WFTU!
