South Africa: Public Service Workers March to Treasury and DPSA

The seven COSATU-affiliated Public Service Unions (NEHAWU, SAMA, POPCRU, SADTU, DENOSA, SASAWU and PAWUSA) organized on 23 April 2015, a massive march in Pretoria to offices of the Departments of Finance and Public Service and Administration to protest the employer’s failure to meet their core demands which include, amongst others: a 10% salary adjustment and a R 1,500 housing allowance.
