The World Federation of Trade Unions expresses its internationalist solidarity with PAME and the workers in Greece, who demand the immediate withdrawal of the unacceptable decision of the Greek Government which prohibits for tomorrow November 17th the gathering of more than 4 people in all country.
The prohibition took place under the pretext of the coronavirus pandemic.In fact, it is an attempt to ban the celebrations of the great and historical uprising of 1973 against the military dictatorship in Greece.During the uprising, 27 students and workers were killed; every year the largest and most massive demonstrations take place to honour their memory in every corner of the country.
We unite our voice with the workers and the people of Greece and we demand the immediate withdrawal of the unacceptable, antidemocratic and anti-labour decision of the Greek government.
