The WFTU Conference for the Eurasian Trade Unions starts today the first day of works with the participation of trade unions from the Eurasian countries.
The conference is taking place in Moscow, Russia, under the theme: “The challenges met by the workers in the Eurasian countries and the role of the trade-union movement”.
During the two-day conference, the affiliates and friends of the WFTU will discuss on the situating that the workers in the region are faced with and will determine the goals and the priorities of the class-oriented trade union movement for the next period.
The WFTU President, Michael Mzwandile Makwayiba, had also been present during the event, greeting the works of the meeting and reaffirming the solidarity of the WFTU with the working class of the Eurasian countries.
