The usurping Zionist entity has committed a new crime to be added to its record of dirty crimes after targeting several buildings in the southern suburb of Beirut, the capital of Lebanon, with F-16 aircraft on 27/9/2024. This targeting led to the assassination of Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah: Secretary-General of Hezbollah in Lebanon and a number of his comrades, and led to a widespread destruction in the civilian area. This targeting aims to drag the Middle East region into a comprehensive war whose flames will spread to burn the entire world.
Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah presented a model of a resistance leader who rejects Israeli and American hegemony and arrogance in the region and was able to defeat the Israeli occupation in 2000 and force it to withdraw from southern Lebanon, and also in 2006 when he defeated the Israeli occupier. After October 7, 2023, in defense of Gaza and in the face of the Israeli occupation forces that are committing massacres without deterrence, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah ordered to direct painful strikes against the usurping Zionist entity in order to stop the war of extermination it is practicing against the defenseless Palestinians.
The Regional Office of the World Federation of Trade Unions in the Middle East condemns this heinous crime of the Israeli occupation and hold the Israeli occupation forces fully responsible for this crime and what will follow it. We extend our sincere condolences to the family of the heroic martyr and to all the resistance crowds around the world.
We call on the UN Security Council to assume its responsibilities to defend international peace and security and to take immediate action to stop the Israeli occupation from its practices and crimes against the Lebanese and Palestinian peoples and to bring the leaders of the Israeli occupation to the International Criminal Court to receive the punishment for what their hands have committed.
We call on all free people around the world to take an immediate action through demonstrations in front of the Israeli and American embassies and to boycott Israeli goods and cut off the arms supplies that reach the usurping Zionist entity in order to stop the brutal aggression that it is now waging against civilians in Lebanon and Palestine.
