In the framework of the International Action Day, the Central activity of the WFTU was held in Palmela, Portugal.
With the main theme of the conference being the slogan “Fighting against unemployment for Dignified work”, General Secretary of the WFTU, George Mavrikos addressed the participants.
The Conference continued its works with a key speech by the General Secretary of CGTP-In, Armenio Carlos and with a presentation by the Director of the ILO-Lisbon Mrs. Mafalda Troncho.
Organized by the Public Services Union in Portugal and attended by trade union leaders from various countries the Central activity of the WFTU will conclude tomorrow, 4th of October 2014.
