On March 30, Palestinians celebrate Earth Day
An important anniversary, which began on March 30, 1976, when thousands of people, Palestinian citizens living in the lands occupied by Israel gathered to protest against the expropriation of other land in Galilee. Hard clashes broke out with the Zionist police, during which six Palestinians were killed, hundreds injured and arrested.
The memory of that day of popular resistance against Zionism and its colonial policies became the International Day of the Palestinian Land.
USB is next to the Palestinian people, on Earth Day and all other days.
Remembering this day means taking to the streets to demand the immediate cessation of the umpteenth wave of bombing of the Gaza Strip, where one and a half million people are forced to live in an open-air prison, surrounded by walls, barbed wire and checkpoints, killed, imprisoned.
In the future, this day will become the day of Liberation and celebration for the Palestinian people. Today is still a time of struggle and resistance against the Zionist ferocity and cynical Western complicity.
On this day USB will be at the side of the Palestinian People, as well as every day of the year.
