With the participation of 15 women trade union leaders from South Africa, Palestine, India, Peru Greece Albania Austria Morocco Tunisia Senegal Panama CUBA Panama Spain the meeting started with enthusiasm and determination on the working women’s agenda and the steps forward to empower working women and meet their problems.
The meeting was chaired by the WFTU General Secretary George Mavrikos, the elected coordinator Grace Mathapelo from NUM South Africa and Valentin Pacho Vice President of WFTU.
