A bilateral meeting was held today, 16th June 2014 at the WFTU Central Offices, between the General Secretary of the TUI Metal and Mining and the Secretariat of the WFTU.
Brother Francisco José Sousa e Silva, new General Secretary of the TUI Metal and Mining accompanied by brother Wallace Paz de Aragão, General Secretary FITMETAL Brazil and Jenny Dauvergne, interpreter discussed with the WFTU leadership about the plan of action of the TUI Metal and Mining.
Important activities and initiatives conserning the problems faced by the workers of the sector in all continents were agreed, aiming to strengthen the coordination of the class-oriented unions in the metal and mining sector in global level.
