Today, on 27 July, a WFTU delegation held a meeting in Athens downtown with Palestinian workers who live and work in Greece. The Palestinians asked for help in the teaching of Greek language for Palestinian immigrants and training support in construction sector works etc, so that they can find a job and survive in Athens and the islands of the Aegean Sea.
The WFTU delegation expressed its solidarity with the heroic struggle of the Palestinian people and underlined that, as a trade union organization, it cooperates with other trade union organizations and its door is always open, without any discrimination, to every militant union which is anti-imperialist and acts inside Palestine against occupation forces for the victory of the Palestinian People.
