In the Central Offices of WFTU in Athens took place the meeting of the Regional Office for Francophone Africa. In the meeting took part delegates from Gabon, Ivory Coast, Cameroon, Senegal, Burkina Faso and Democratic Republic of Congo. The WFTU General Secretary, George Mavrikos intervened in the meeting and in his speech underlined the importance of the 17th World Trade Union Congress and the role of African Region in its success.
The programm of the delegates will be continued with billateral contacts with Greek Trade Unionists of PAME and Seminars.
