The World Federation of Trade Unions representing more than 92 million workers in every corner of the planet expresses its deep class solidarity with the workers of BPO Company in Nigeria, who are working 9-10 hours daily under unfair, dangerous and life threatening shift conditions. All the workers are graduates, even with Master degree, but they are paid with the lowest employee salary.
The MTN-Nigeria contacted the BPO to handle their customer care unit in order to reduce the salaries of the workers in this sector by outsourcing the Customer Care Unit to BPO.
We call the workers in BPO to organize themselves and struggle collectively for better working and living conditions.
