The World Federation of Trade Unions, commemorating its 75th anniversary, is strengthening the international solidarity with the Palestinian workers and people in a period when the Israeli aggression and imperialist competition are sharpening.
During the WFTU International Teleconference in solidarity with Palestine , which was held on July 6, 2020, an Open Painting Contest for Palestine was decided, as a way for militant trade unionists to express their support and solidarity and the world’s class oriented movement demands, for the end of annexation plans in the West Bank, for the end of Israeli settlements, for the liberation of Palestinian political prisoners, for the return of the refugees, for the recognition of an independent Palestinian State on 1967 borders with East Jerusalem as its capital.
Therefore we are inviting everyone who wants to paint a picture for Palestine and send it to the WFTU Central Offices, to the email: [email protected]
All pictures related to the Palestinian struggle will be published in a special edition, while an international selection committee will chose the best three pictures and organize awarding events with prizes.
We are looking forward to receiving your paintings, since it is through the art as well that the workers can express themselves, convey militant messages that inspire the working class to continue the struggle for their interests.
