Dear comrades and friends
On behalf of WFTU Middel East Office, I would like to congratulate you all and wish you a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year 2021.
Last year was a year full of challenges. However, WFTU could adapt to the level of these challenges especially at the time of the COVID-19. We could hold tens of webinars and conferences via zoom and GoToMeeting platforms to gather our forces everywhere in the world. The accumulation of these efforts was the holding of our Virtual WFTU Presidential Council last month with the presence of all WFTU Presidential council members. Discussions were free and democratic as usual in which we discussed the main challenges in the globe and the potential reflections to such challenges.
Our 2021 agenda is full of topics and initiatives. For our Arab area, the main topics are the aggression of Israel again our people in Palestine, Syria and Lebanon, in addition to the Caesar Act that affected the people of Syria, Lebanon and Iran.
We have a 2021 year full of work and enthusiasm
