On Thursday 28 and Friday 29 April, meetings were held with workers and young people, in provincial cities and regions such as Gafsa, Redeyef, Kasserine, Sidi Bouzid, Ouled Haffouz, that constitute symbols in the recent revolts against the dictatorship.
The aim of all these activities was to make known to the young workers, the WFTU positions, history and action, and the hope that its historic 16th Congress gave birth and also to express the WFTU solidarity with the struggles of the workers and people of Tunisia against the imperialism, for a future where indeed the working class will be the leader in the economic and social development of the country, to benefit of the modern people’s interests and rights.
