Dear colleagues,
We are pleased to announce the results of the WFTU drawing contest “Draw a picture for Palestine” which took place from July to December 2020, on the occasion of the 75th anniversary since the founding of the WFTU and for the strengthening of international solidarity with the workers and people of Palestine.
We thank the militant artists who sent their drawings, expressing as well through their art the demands of the world class-oriented trade union movement against the occupation of Palestinian territories by Israel, against the Israeli settlements, for the release of Palestinian political prisoners, the return of Palestinian refugees to their territories, the recognition of the independent state of Palestine on the border of 1967 with East Jerusalem as its capital and the end of the aggression of Israel and its allies against the Palestinian people.
The first prize goes to colleague Safaa Sahouri from the National Union of Palestinian Workers from Palestine.
The second prize goes to colleague Anna Pitta from Greece.
The third prize goes to colleague Andrés Camilo Aroca Martinez from Colombia.
Finally, a prize is awarded to colleague Guillo from Spain, for the category of digital paintings.
