The General Federation of Trade Unions in Syria condemns the criminal and barbaric acts and assaults carried out by a group of barbaric mobs against Syrian workers and citizens as they have headed today to the Syrian embassy in Beirut to vote for the Syrian presidential elections, which resulted in the injury of dozens of them.
This attack and the described crime against workers and Syrian citizens in Lebanon while they are fulfilling their duty to vote in the presidential elections, which was documented by television screens, is only carried out by the “neo-Nazis” and those with known criminal tendencies and their leaders’ tendencies polluted with Lebanese, Palestinian and Syrian people blood,. .
These attacks have not and will not discourage the Syrian workers residing in Lebanon and other Syrians residing there from continuing to flock to the headquarters of the embassy and cast their votes in the presidential elections, to send a message to the whole world that the will of the Syrians will not be broken, and that the children of the Syrian Arab people will make all efforts for the sake of success. This is the constitutional entitlement that affirms the independence of the Syrian national decision and rejects foreign interference and dictates.
The General Federation of Trade Unions in the Syrian Arab Republic condemns this crime … We call upon International Confederation of Arab Trade Unions, World Federation of Trade Unions and Arab, regional and international trade union organizations, and in the foreground the brothers in the CGTU in Lebanon and the International Labor Organization to condemn and denounce this described crime to which Syrians in Lebanon were exposed to today. We demand the competent Lebanese authorities and the honorable people of the Lebanese people to hold the criminals accountable and bring them to justice and accountability for their actions against these innocent people.
Those who carried out these attacks must think carefully about their actions and actions. The Syrians have made tremendous sacrifices for the sake of Lebanon’s unity and independence, and it is an occasion to remind these criminals and their leaders that Syria has triumphed over international terrorism supported by the forces of evil and aggression in the world and sacked the noses of the aggressors, and that the dignity of Syrians is above all consideration.
