Subject: Congress of WFTU – T.U.I. Transport
Brazil December 10-11, 2007
Dear comrades,
the WFTU is charting a new course. After the 15th congress with a new spirit it evaluates its history and moves forward to the present and future.
The world’s working class needs today a strong WFTU capable of providing leadership, to analyze the international situation, to coordinate the militant trade unions and develop its activity effectively. In today’s conditions, the world’s working class needs trade unions class- oriented, to unite all workers against multinationals and imperialism. It needs trade unions with an internationalist spirit-democratic and modern.
The World Federation of Trade Unions is inviting your Trade Union Organization to participate to the Congress of TUI Transport to be held on December 10 and 11, 2007, in Belo Horizonte, Brazil.
In today’s conditions, this Congress has a major importance for the transport workers of all branches. Specialized interventions for transports by air, rail, road, naval and ports will be presented.The Congress will be hosted by the Union Class Current (CSC) and the National Federation of the Subway Workers (FENAMETRO). For those participants who need a Visa to travel to Brazil, host organizations will send directly the nominative invitation.
