2nd International Conference of Working Youth, Havana, Cuba, April 29-30, 2012

img_5165.JPGThe 2nd International Conference of Working Youth of the WFTU took place on April 29-30 in Havana, Cuba. For two days, 135 young trade union workers from WFTU affiliated and friendly organizations from 35 countries around the World discussed with maturity, enthusiasm and inspired by the principles and values ​​of the international class-oriented trade union movement.

A new WFTU Youth Secretariat was elected, that will be in charge to materialize the action plan approved by the Conference.

Greece, Athens: The TUI and Regional Offices held their yearly meeting with the WFTU Secretariat

img_9884b.jpgimg_9847.JPGThe yearly meeting between the WFTU Secretariat, the TUIs’ leadership and the Heads of the Regional Offices of WFTU was held on the 8th of May 2012 in Athens Greece.

The meeting was one more step in the course of implementing the resolutions of the 16th World Trade Union Congress for the strengthening of the Trade Union Internationals and the Regional Offices of WFTU.

The main point in the agenda of the meeting, the preparation of the International Action Day on the 3rd October 2012, was thoroughly discussed.
