The World Federation of Trade Unions (WFTU) Women Committee is deeply saddened about the sudden death of its Vice-President Comrade David Kolekile Sipunzi who passed on on the 25th December 2020. Undoubtedly, the working-class revolution has lost a dedicated servant of the people. His dedication to the working-class revolution globally reflects an inspiring legacy that will guide many generations to come.
Comrade Kolekile David Sipunzi was Vice-President of WFTU and a Presidential Member he will be sadly missed for his unapologetically participation in the WFTU and the unwavering support towards Women struggles. He was a humble yet a no chance taker person and he led both WFTU and NUM as the union General Secretary he was indeed a dedicated trade unionist.
